Location: Kindersley, Saskatchewan
Completion: 2024
Overview:
ANET spearheaded the rollout of public and private EV charging infrastructure at the Crossroads Motel in Kindersley as part of Canada’s ZEVIP funding program. This installation formed part of a national deployment initiative in which ANET managed 16 self-performing teams across multiple provinces, delivering turnkey EV charging infrastructure for hospitality, commercial, and municipal clients. Work at this site included detailed site surveys, electrical load assessments, permitting coordination, and upgrades to service distribution to accommodate Level 2 charging stations. Civil works involved trenching for power and communications conduits, installation of concrete equipment pads, and bollard protection systems, followed by full electrical tie-ins, software configuration, and commissioning.
The project ensured seamless integration with existing utilities and operational systems at the motel, providing guests and fleet users with reliable, future-ready charging access. ANET’s delivery approach prioritized minimal disruption to motel operations, compliance with utility and provincial electrical authority requirements, and optimized charger placement for user convenience and traffic flow. This deployment supports regional electrification and exemplifies ANET’s capacity to execute multi-site EV infrastructure programs under national clean-transportation funding initiatives.
