EV Charging Station Installation – Super 8 Motel

Client: Super 8 Motel
Location: Langley, British Columbia
Completion: September 2008

Overview:
ANET implemented a four-port Level 2 EV charging system at the Super 8 Motel in Langley, BC, delivering a turnkey upgrade to support electric-vehicle-driving guests. The project included load-calculation and power-distribution design, service-panel upgrades, trenching and conduit installation, electrical rough-in, and full post-installation testing and commissioning. Charger placement was strategically designed to maximize guest accessibility and maintain site functionality. ANET also coordinated with the local utility to secure the necessary approvals and ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.

Despite the constraints of working within an active hotel property, ANET completed the installation efficiently while minimizing disruptions to motel operations and guests. The successful deployment provided the facility with modern EV charging capability, enhancing guest amenities and supporting the hotel’s sustainability goals. This project showcases ANET’s ability to retrofit commercial hospitality environments with reliable EV infrastructure and demonstrates our experience in delivering clean-transportation upgrades in operational public-use settings.
