Overview:
ANET Fiber Tech Inc. has recently completed a major municipal standby power program for the Municipality of Lakeshore, delivering and installing generators across multiple critical service facilities. The scope included turnkey supply, electrical integration, concrete foundations, automatic transfer systems, distribution upgrades, commissioning, and site restoration for eight locations, including public works yards, water treatment facilities, pumping stations, and Fire Station #5. The program also included deployment of five 50 kW portable emergency generators to enhance mobile response and utility redundancy.
ANET managed all ESA permitting, equipment procurement, electrical tie-ins, commissioning, and site logistics while maintaining uninterrupted municipal operations. Work involved trenching, conduit installation, slab and bollard installation, fuel system integration, and full testing of automatic standby power operation. The project provides Lakeshore with improved emergency preparedness, enhanced operational resilience, and reliable long-term backup power capacity across essential community infrastructure. This successful multi-site delivery highlights ANET’s capability to execute complex municipal power programs with safety, quality, and schedule certainty.
