Remote Cell Site Deployments for Rogers (C8455, C8456 & C8457)

In June 2023, ANET delivered three turnkey remote cell sites for Rogers Communications Inc. at Hopper Lake (C8455), Marquis Lake (C8456), and North Burnt Bush Lake (C8457). Each offgrid location required full civil and structural works, including engineered foundations, tower assembly, and all necessary fencing and access roads to ensure reliable, yearround connectivity. Our multidisciplinary crews installed guyed 100 m towers, antenna arrays, radios, and weatherproof cabling systems. To power these isolated sites, we designed and integrated hybrid 48 kW energy solutions: combining solar arrays, verticalaxis wind turbines, and propane generators. Following system integration, we performed rigorous site grading, environmental restoration, and commissioned backup power systems to ensure seamless failover during extended outages. With a total project value of $1.5 million, these sites now deliver highcapacity voice and data services to underserved regions. Rogers has praised ANET’s ability to manage complex logistics, remote mobilization, and sustainability requirements.
