Overview:
ANET executed the full electrical and hybrid-power installation for a new Rogers remote telecommunications site at Marquis Lake, Ontario. The project involved installing a new 200A electrical service and integrating a hybrid renewable power system combining solar generation, wind energy, battery storage, and diesel generator backup. This comprehensive scope included site preparation, grounding, electrical distribution, system testing, and commissioning to ensure reliable and continuous power delivery in a fully off-grid environment. All work was carried out under strict safety protocols and technical standards, with close coordination across logistics, equipment mobilization, and quality assurance in challenging northern terrain.

The remote location presented operational challenges, including difficult access routes, limited utility support, and weather-dependent installation conditions typical of northern regions. Despite these constraints, ANET delivered the project successfully and on schedule, providing a stable and resilient power infrastructure designed to support 24/7 network operation. This project demonstrates ANET’s capability to deploy advanced hybrid power systems in isolated settings and reinforces our proven ability to support mission-critical telecom infrastructure with dependable, long-term off-grid power solutions.
